Day 6
Today's photo inspiration is #still_life.
This is the scene over a small bookcase in my hall way. Sometimes I light the candles, sit on the floor.. thumb through the books or magazines in the quiet...in the still.
We all have times when we go home at night and pull out our hair and feel misunderstood and lonely and like we're falling. I think the brain is such that there is always going to be something missing.

Day 5
Today's photo inspiration is #view.
This was the view from my kitchen window this morning. I thought it was fitting that the picture came out blurry as this is how it felt before coffee.

Day 4
Today's photo inspiration is # graceful. This powerful poem, on paper wrinkled and a bit dirty is taped to my computer screen at work. I try to remember to read it every morning and the times that I do I find I flow through my day a bit more graceful and inspired.
"Our Deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.."
-Marianne Williamson.

Day 3
Today's photo inspiration is #optimistic. It was really cold this morning and even though I was running late I ran back in the house and happened upon my gloves that had been missing for the past couple of days. Armed for the cold and despite it I decided to appreciate that the sun was at least shining and made it a good morning anyways.
